While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, it’s acknowledged that this information is relayed in good faith but may not be guaranteed as completely accurate. For detailed information, please refer to our adoption Privacy Policy
Upon leaving our establishment, the animal is believed to be in good health unless specific conditions are noted in the Animal Adoption Form. The Adopter bears the responsibility and costs for any future veterinary treatment, except where stated otherwise.
As the intermediary between adopters and shelters, Animal Lover Ltd serves as the gateway for facilitating communication and support. While we are dedicated to facilitating interactions and advocating for the well-being of the animals, our role is primarily to facilitate communication between adopters and shelters. We strive to do everything within our capacity to ensure the happiness and welfare of the animals
These terms do not affect the legal rights of the Adopter, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other relevant consumer protection laws. For more information, please consult local Consumer Advice or Trading Standards Department.
Animal Lover Ltd strongly advises Adopters to consider obtaining suitable insurance coverage to address various aspects related to the welfare and care of the adopted animals. This includes veterinary treatment expenses, which may arise due to unforeseen illnesses, injuries, or medical conditions that the animal may experience during its lifetime. Additionally, insurance coverage can help mitigate financial risks associated with potential liabilities arising from the adopted animal’s behavior or actions, ensuring that Adopters are adequately prepared to address any eventualities that may arise. By considering appropriate insurance cover, Adopters can provide comprehensive protection for the well-being of the adopted animal and safeguard themselves against unexpected financial burdens.
By adopting, the Adopter confirms that, to their best knowledge, no individual residing in their household, or responsible for the animal’s care, is disqualified from keeping animals under the Animal Welfare Act 2006 or has any relevant unspent conviction.
The Adopter acknowledges potential liabilities for damages or injuries caused by the animal to third parties or their property. Adequate insurance coverage against such risks is strongly recommended.
The Adopter commits to comply with all relevant regulations, legislation, and laws concerning animal welfare, responsible ownership, and protection, including the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and related codes of practice.
For certain animals, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, male guinea pigs, or male horses, the Adopter agrees to arrange for the animal’s neutering unless there are overriding veterinary reasons against it.
Upon adoption of a microchipped animal, the Adopter permits Animal Lover Ltd to pass their personal data to the microchip database for registration purposes. They agree to maintain accurate records by updating the database about any changes in address or ownership post-adoption.
The Adopter agrees not to engage in the irresponsible sale or disposal of the adopted animal. Additional guidance regarding the responsible handling of unwanted pets can be provided upon request.
As a third party facilitating communication between adopters and animals for shelters, Animal Lover Ltd acknowledges that its liability cannot be limited to instances of fraud, negligence resulting in death or personal injury, or any other liabilities that are legally non-excludable.
